This app requires webcam access to extract random noise from your camera sensor. No video is recorded or transmitted. All processing happens locally in your browser. No data leaves this page.

THE NOISE

Your camera sensor generates thermal noise in every pixel — true quantum randomness at the hardware level. For the purest signal, cover your webcam lens with tape or your finger. In total darkness the sensor has nothing to image, so every pixel is pure thermal fluctuation — no scene data, no compression artifacts, just entropy.

HOW TO USE

• The center display shows raw pixel noise from your sensor
• Whisper AI listens to this noise and hallucinates words — the transcript appears on the left
• Select a shape on the channel dial (or draw your own) and concentrate — watch the coherence meter
• Adjust TEMP to control hallucination intensity, CHUNK for how often it listens
• Turn up NOISE to hear the raw static, TTS to hear the phantom voices speak

COHERENCE

The meter on the right measures how well the random noise aligns with your chosen shape. The score ranges from -1 (anti-correlated) through 0 (pure chance) to +1 (perfect match). Under normal conditions it should hover near zero. Anything else is between you and the void.
